Clinical Director

Joelle Johnson, LCSW, LAC began consulting with the YWCA in 2019 and fully joined the team as a Clinical Director in 2022.  Joelle has dedicated much of her 20-year career to creating supportive environments for women to heal from past trauma and build their personal paths to recovery and safety.  She loves working with mamas of all ages and stages, helping them to understand and repair cycles of generational hurt. 

Joelle is grateful to be doing this work in her hometown of Helena where she and her husband Garth raised two wonderful sons.  In her spare time, you can find Joelle bowling with her husband or taking her twin Labradors, Bo and Luke, for a hike.
