Child and Family Advocate

Kylie was born and raised in Texas and recently moved to Helena in September 2021. She graduated with her Bachelors of Social Work in 2015 at Texas Tech University and is currently finishing up her MSW through the online GCSW program at University of Houston with a specialty in Macro Social Work. For the past 7 years, Kylie has worked with both Texas Child Protective Services and Montana’s Child and Family Services before joining the YWCA in August 2022. The mission of the YWCA aligns with her own personal values and vision for herself and the community.

Aside from her passion working with children and families, she is an avid dog lover who has owned giant breeds her whole life. She’s worked with several Great Dane Rescues and hopes to run her own rescue one day. When she isn’t at work or doing school assignments, you may find her walking around town with her Irish Wolfhound puppy, Errigal (aka Errgy).
