Mēghan joined the YWCA Helena Board in December of 2025. She is excited to dive in and work together with the rest of the board as the YWCA continues to move forward in this ever-changing world. Mēghan, a former YWCA resident, arrived as a new AmeriCorps member after moving to Montana in 2014. Her mission was to directly serve the community by empowering Montanans to advocate for their legal rights and increase their access to justice. Upon leaving the YWCA boarding house, Mēghan and her family have continued to support the YWCA and is looking forward to doing what she can to serve women, children, and under-represented populations.
Mēghan was born and raised in Ohio but lived in Indiana for a few years as a varsity athlete, earning a Sociology degree from the University of Saint Francis. After serving two years with the Justice for Montanans AmeriCorps Project, she moved into program management and now holds the Manager of People & Culture (HR) role with the only free, statewide civil legal aid law firm in Montana.
Mēghan finds hiking in nature to bring unparalleled peace. The people she enjoys the most and gets to do life with include her husband, sister, and nephew.
